F.A.Q

F.A.Q

HypnoCorpe® is an independent advisory and strategic analysis firm focused on complex health cases. This FAQ explains how the Décodage Biologique Clinique® framework works, how a 30-day engagement is conducted, the respective roles of the patient and their doctor, how research and reporting are handled, and the precise limits of HypnoCorpe®’s involvement.

Understanding HypnoCorpe®
01 What is HypnoCorpe®?

HypnoCorpe® is an independent advisory and strategic analysis firm focused on complex, persistent or difficult-to-explain health cases.

The engagement involves reviewing the available information as a whole, reconstructing its chronology, examining potential relationships between different findings, testing competing explanations and identifying which questions may warrant further investigation or discussion with appropriately qualified professionals.

HypnoCorpe® does not make medical diagnoses, prescribe treatment or replace a doctor. Its role is to make a complex case clearer, more structured and more useful in subsequent medical discussions.

02 What does HypnoCorpe® actually do?

HypnoCorpe® does not simply summarise or organise the documents provided.

An engagement may include reconstructing the clinical timeline, reviewing laboratory results and investigations already performed, examining treatment history, considering reported effectiveness and tolerability, identifying inconsistencies or possible interactions, developing competing hypotheses and comparing those hypotheses with the available scientific evidence.

Where relevant, specific questions may also be explored with specialists or teams who have particular expertise in the area concerned.

The objective is to understand what the available information may indicate when it is considered as an interconnected whole.

03 Does HypnoCorpe® simply organise the information in my file?

No.

Organising the information is only a starting point. The value of the engagement lies in examining the relationships between events, identifying inconsistencies, recognising questions that remain unresolved and determining which findings could materially change the understanding of the case.

HypnoCorpe® does not simply organise information; it examines what that information may reveal when the pieces are considered together.

04 What types of cases does HypnoCorpe® work with?

HypnoCorpe® primarily works with situations in which symptoms or functional difficulties persist despite an already substantial medical history: multiple consultations, numerous investigations, successive treatments, information originating from different specialties, or a rare, atypical or particularly complex presentation.

Eligibility depends on the complexity and nature of the case, not simply on the number of tests that have already been performed.

05 Does HypnoCorpe® work with children?

No.

HypnoCorpe® engagements are available exclusively to patients aged 18 or over.

06 Does HypnoCorpe® only work with patients who live in Switzerland?

No.

HypnoCorpe® operates internationally and may accept cases from patients in different countries, provided that the engagement can be conducted appropriately and is compatible with any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Medical examinations, prescriptions and treatment decisions remain the responsibility of professionals who are legally authorised to provide them in the relevant jurisdiction.

07 Do I need to travel to Geneva?

Generally, no. The engagement is primarily conducted remotely.

Complex and multifactorial cases
08 Do I need to have an existing diagnosis?

No.

Some patients already have one or more diagnoses. Others have persistent symptoms without a sufficiently satisfactory explanation.

HypnoCorpe® does not establish a new medical diagnosis. The purpose of the engagement is to determine whether a broader review of the available information reveals questions or relationships that have not previously been considered together.

09 Can HypnoCorpe® review a case even if my test results are considered normal?

Yes.

Results that fall within reference ranges do not necessarily mean that every question raised by the clinical situation has been resolved.

The engagement may examine how results have changed over time, whether they are consistent with reported symptoms, how they relate to treatment history and whether other available information alters their significance.

What does the existing information show when it is placed back into its timeline and considered as a whole?
10 Is HypnoCorpe® only for rare diseases?

No.

A rare disease can certainly create a highly complex case, but complexity may also arise when several relatively common factors overlap or interact in the same individual.

11 What do you mean by a multifactorial case?

It is a situation in which a single explanation appears insufficient.

Relevant factors may include metabolism, neurological function, sleep, cardiovascular parameters, hormones, inflammation, nutrition, treatment effects, previous medical history and functional changes over time.

The purpose of the engagement is to examine these dimensions without assuming in advance that any one of them explains the entire case.

Décodage Biologique Clinique®
12 What is Décodage Biologique Clinique®?

Décodage Biologique Clinique® is HypnoCorpe®’s strategic analysis framework.

It is designed to reconstruct a complex health case as a whole, compare the available information, identify unresolved questions and examine scientific evidence that may help clarify persistent symptoms, treatment resistance, unexpected developments or inconsistencies within the case.

It is neither a medical diagnosis nor a prescribing service.

13 What does the word “Décodage” mean in this context?

In this context, the term refers to the structured review, interpretation and cross-referencing of available information.

It does not refer to theories sometimes described using similar terminology which claim that a disease is automatically caused by a specific psychological or emotional conflict.

14 How is this different from a medical consultation?

During a medical consultation, a doctor may examine a patient, establish or confirm a diagnosis, order investigations, prescribe treatment and provide ongoing medical care.

HypnoCorpe® operates in a different capacity: it provides an in-depth strategic and documentary analysis of a complex case.

The two roles are not interchangeable.

15 How is this different from a medical second opinion?

A medical second opinion usually addresses a defined clinical question within a particular physician’s or specialty’s area of expertise.

Décodage Biologique Clinique® is designed for cases in which the difficulty lies more broadly in the overall trajectory and in the relationship between information produced by different specialties or at different points in time.

Eligibility
16 Are all applications accepted?

No.

This level of analysis is neither necessary nor appropriate for every situation. An initial review is used to determine whether the complexity of the case and the information already available justify an engagement of this nature.

17 Why do I need to complete an eligibility questionnaire?

The questionnaire provides an initial understanding of the case, the medical journey to date, the principal unresolved issues and the overall level of complexity before any engagement is accepted.

18 Does submitting an eligibility questionnaire guarantee acceptance?

No. The questionnaire is a request for assessment, not an automatic acceptance into the service.

19 Can a very recent health problem be accepted?

It depends on the circumstances.

Where standard first-line medical investigations have not yet been carried out, it may be more appropriate to continue through the usual medical pathway first. The engagement is particularly relevant once sufficient information exists to support a meaningful cross-disciplinary review.

The 30-day engagement
20 How long does an engagement last?

A standard Décodage Biologique Clinique® engagement is conducted over a period of 30 days, subject to the terms communicated at the time of acceptance.

21 When does the 30-day engagement begin?

The engagement begins once acceptance has been confirmed, the required formalities have been completed, the applicable payment has been received and the information required to begin the analysis is available.

22 Is my case fixed as of the day I submit my documents?

No.

Health circumstances may continue to evolve during the 30-day period. Relevant new information obtained during the engagement may be incorporated where it could materially affect the understanding of the case.

23 Do I need to report changes that occur during the engagement?

Yes.

Any new information that could affect the analysis should be reported. This includes a new medication, a change or discontinuation of treatment, the introduction of supplements, new laboratory results, additional investigations, a specialist consultation, hospitalisation or a significant change in symptoms.

24 Why do I also need to report supplements?

Because supplements may affect laboratory values, interact with medication or change the context in which certain findings should be interpreted.

Their use therefore needs to be incorporated into the case timeline.

25 Can new information change an earlier hypothesis?

Yes.

A hypothesis may be strengthened, revised or discarded when new information becomes available. The purpose of the analysis is not to defend a predetermined conclusion, but to keep testing possible explanations against the evidence available.

Tests, biomarkers and additional questions
26 Can the analysis identify additional biomarkers or investigations that may be worth considering?

Yes.

The analysis may show that a relevant parameter has never been assessed, that a previous result may warrant reassessment or that an additional investigation could help answer a specific unresolved question.

These are presented as matters for discussion with an appropriately licensed medical professional.

27 Does HypnoCorpe® order medical tests?

No.

Where a test requires a medical order, prescription or clinical decision, that decision must be made by a professional who is legally authorised to do so.

28 Does HypnoCorpe® encourage patients to undergo more and more tests?

No.

The aim is to determine which additional information, if any, could meaningfully help answer an unresolved question, rather than to generate investigations without a clear rationale.

29 Can HypnoCorpe® prepare the information needed when an additional investigation appears relevant?

Yes.

HypnoCorpe® may structure the question, identify the parameters that warrant discussion and prepare supporting information that the patient can take to their doctor, specialist or laboratory.

Where involvement of a third party requires disclosure of personal information, no such disclosure is made without the patient’s agreement.

The role of the doctor
30 Does HypnoCorpe® replace my treating doctor?

No.

The doctor remains responsible for medical examination, diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment decisions and ongoing medical care.

HypnoCorpe® analyses and structures a complex case so that relevant questions can be discussed within the appropriate medical setting.

31 What is the purpose of the engagement in relation to my doctor?

The engagement is not intended to end with a theoretical explanation of the case.

It is also designed to make the relevant findings usable in a discussion with the doctor who remains responsible for medical decisions.

32 Can information be prepared specifically for my doctor?

Yes.

A structured, evidence-based summary may be prepared to support discussion with the doctor. It may include the timeline, relevant findings, hypotheses considered, issues that may warrant further review, scientific references and questions requiring medical judgement.

This document is not a prescription and does not constitute a medical diagnosis made by HypnoCorpe®.

33 Is my doctor required to follow the points raised by HypnoCorpe®?

No.

Every doctor retains full professional independence and decides, within their own scope of practice, which investigations, treatments or other measures they consider clinically appropriate.

34 What happens if my doctor does not wish to review the issues raised?

HypnoCorpe® seeks to preserve continuity with the patient’s existing medical care wherever reasonably possible.

If an important question nevertheless remains unable to be assessed, the patient may choose to seek a second opinion or consult another professional with the relevant expertise.

That decision belongs entirely to the patient.

35 Does HypnoCorpe® encourage patients to change doctors?

No.

The objective is not to replace professionals who are already involved in the patient’s care.

Where a particular area of expertise remains necessary and is not available through the existing pathway, alternative options may simply be identified so that the outstanding question can be assessed by an appropriately qualified professional.

Finding appropriate specialists
36 What if the expertise required is not available in my country or region?

HypnoCorpe® may research professionals or specialist centres whose field of expertise corresponds to the question identified.

Several possible options may be presented to the patient, including remote consultations where these are available.

This research does not guarantee that a professional will accept the case and does not constitute a mandatory medical referral. The decision whether to contact any professional remains entirely with the patient.

37 Can HypnoCorpe® look for an international telemedicine consultation?

Yes, where the required expertise is available remotely and this appears relevant to the case.

Availability, professional licensing requirements, acceptance of the case and the conditions under which a remote consultation may take place remain matters for the professional or institution concerned.

International expertise and case discussions
38 Can HypnoCorpe® discuss a specific question with an international specialist?

Yes, where doing so may add meaningful information to the analysis and with the patient’s agreement.

This may involve testing a hypothesis, understanding how a newer treatment is being used in clinical practice or obtaining professional experience relating to an unusual situation.

These discussions supplement documentary research. They do not replace published evidence or the judgement of the doctor responsible for the patient’s medical care.

39 Do specialists consulted for a case discussion know the patient’s identity?

Where the exchange is conducted as a case discussion, the case is presented under a coded reference and direct identifying information is removed.

Only information necessary to address the particular question is shared.

Where a combination of details could nevertheless permit indirect identification, the information continues to be treated as personal data and remains subject to the applicable data-protection requirements.

40 Does a specialist’s clinical experience carry the same weight as published scientific evidence?

No.

Professional clinical experience does not carry the same evidential weight as a clinical trial, systematic review or professional guideline.

It may nevertheless help refine a question or identify something worth investigating when the published evidence is still limited. Such information is always considered according to its actual level of evidence.

Scientific research
41 How is the scientific research carried out?

Research draws on original scientific publications, reference works, professional guidelines and specialised research resources.

HypnoCorpe® also has professional access to scientific and university-hospital resources available through subscription or authorised access.

The objective is not to accumulate publications, but to identify the sources that are genuinely relevant to the questions raised by the individual case.

42 Are scientific references provided?

Where scientific evidence forms an important part of the analysis, relevant references may be included in the report so that the underlying sources can be located, reviewed and discussed.

43 How do you distinguish evidence from a hypothesis?

A distinction is maintained between findings that are well established, conclusions supported by several converging elements, plausible working hypotheses and questions that still require further verification.

A hypothesis is not presented as fact simply because it appears coherent.

Artificial intelligence and human analysis
44 Does artificial intelligence determine the conclusions of a case?

No.

Conclusions about an individual case are not delegated to an automated system, and analytical decisions are not automatically generated or approved.

Digital tools may be used for certain technical or administrative functions, but they do not replace human review of the information, verification of sources, comparison of competing hypotheses or responsibility for the conclusions reached during the engagement.

45 Why does human interaction remain important in multifactorial cases?

Because a complex case cannot be reduced to laboratory values and written reports.

The lived timeline, the way certain events are described, changes between consultations, inconsistencies, hesitation or details repeatedly emphasised by the patient may raise questions that deserve closer examination.

These observations are never treated as proof in themselves. Their role is to identify what may warrant subsequent verification against objective information.

Treatments and documented options
46 Does HypnoCorpe® review treatments that have already been prescribed?

Yes, where they are relevant to understanding the case timeline.

The timing of treatment, subsequent changes, reported response, tolerability and relevant information from the scientific literature may all be considered.

This documentary analysis does not constitute a prescribing decision.

47 Does HypnoCorpe® prescribe medication?

No.

HypnoCorpe® does not prescribe medication or treatment. Prescribing remains the responsibility of professionals who are legally authorised to do so.

48 Can HypnoCorpe® change my treatment?

No.

Any decision to start, change or discontinue a prescribed treatment must be made with an appropriately qualified medical professional.

49 Can HypnoCorpe® research other treatment options described in the literature?

Yes, where such research is relevant to the case.

Options described in professional guidelines or scientific publications may be compared and documented to support an informed discussion with the patient’s doctor.

This research is not a prescription and does not constitute an instruction to change treatment.

What you receive
50 What does the patient receive at the end of the engagement?

The final reporting is designed to present the outcome of the analysis in a structured form: the relevant chronology, relationships identified, hypotheses examined, sufficiently supported findings, remaining uncertainties and questions that may warrant further discussion with the appropriate professionals.

51 Will I be able to understand the report without medical training?

Yes.

The patient-facing report is designed to make the reasoning understandable without artificially oversimplifying complex issues.

52 Can a separate document be prepared for my doctor?

Yes.

An evidence-based summary may present the relevant findings, scientific references and questions that may require a doctor’s assessment or decision.

It does not replace the medical record maintained by healthcare professionals responsible for the patient’s care.

53 Can I request a complete report within 24 hours for an upcoming medical appointment?

Not where the necessary analysis has not yet progressed sufficiently.

Conclusions develop over the course of the engagement and may change as new information becomes available. HypnoCorpe® will not present an incomplete analysis as final merely to meet a deadline that is incompatible with a sufficiently rigorous review.

Brain Health Clinique®, NeuroReset® and Longevity Clinique®
54 Do I need to choose one of the HypnoCorpe® frameworks?

No.

Décodage Biologique Clinique® is the core engagement.

Brain Health Clinique®, NeuroReset® and Longevity Clinique® are additional analytical frameworks that may be incorporated only where particular aspects of the case make them relevant.

55 Can I purchase Brain Health Clinique® on its own?

Not within the service pathway currently offered by HypnoCorpe®.

The framework may be incorporated into an engagement where questions involving brain health, cognition, attention, neurovascular factors or sleep are relevant to the case.

56 Can I choose NeuroReset® as a separate service?

Not within the service pathway currently offered.

NeuroReset® may be incorporated where mechanisms involving neuro-metabolic resistance, regulation or adaptation are relevant to the analysis.

57 Can I choose Longevity Clinique® as a separate service?

Not within the service pathway currently offered.

Longevity Clinique® may be incorporated where functional trajectory, prevention or longer-term health determinants are relevant to the engagement.

58 Are all three frameworks used in every case?

No.

A framework is incorporated only where it adds meaningful value to the analysis of the individual case.

Fees and financial terms
59 What is the fee for an engagement?

HypnoCorpe® applies a single fee for a standard 30-day engagement.

The applicable fee is disclosed during the admission process and before any final commitment is made.

The engagement is not billed as a series of hourly consultations.

60 Does the fee increase if Brain Health Clinique®, NeuroReset® or Longevity Clinique® is used?

No, not within a standard engagement.

These frameworks are not priced as separate add-ons to the engagement.

61 What if my case clearly exceeds the scope of a standard engagement?

If the volume or complexity of a case exceptionally exceeds the original scope, any material extension of the engagement will be discussed with the patient before additional work is undertaken.

62 Is the engagement covered by health insurance?

HypnoCorpe® engagements are provided on a private-pay basis and remain the financial responsibility of the patient.

HypnoCorpe® does not represent the service as reimbursable under Swiss compulsory health insurance and does not guarantee reimbursement by any public or private insurer, whether in Switzerland or elsewhere.

Independence
63 Is HypnoCorpe® owned by or affiliated with a clinic, laboratory or healthcare network?

No.

HypnoCorpe® operates independently.

Any professionals, specialist centres, laboratories or experts identified during an engagement are selected because of their relevance to the question being examined, not because the patient is required to use a particular network.

64 Does HypnoCorpe® receive a commission when a specialist or laboratory is identified?

No.

Any professional, specialist centre or laboratory identified during an engagement is selected on the basis of the needs of the case, not because HypnoCorpe® receives a financial benefit from directing a patient to that provider.

65 Who is HypnoCorpe® working for?

The patient instructs HypnoCorpe®.

A doctor, laboratory, specialist centre or expert may become a useful professional contact during the engagement, but does not become HypnoCorpe®’s instructing party.

The patient remains informed about steps involving their case and retains autonomy over their own decisions.

Confidentiality and sensitive information
66 Is the information I provide to HypnoCorpe® confidential?

Yes.

Information concerning health constitutes sensitive personal data within the meaning of Article 5(c)(2) of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP; SR 235.1).

HypnoCorpe® applies appropriate organisational and technical measures and observes the confidentiality and data-protection obligations applicable to its processing of such information.

67 How is sensitive information exchanged?

A dedicated communication channel is used for the exchange of sensitive information relating to a case.

The purpose is to reduce unnecessary circulation of health information through ordinary communication channels and to keep sensitive exchanges within the environment designated for that purpose.

68 Does HypnoCorpe® send my complete file to outside specialists?

Not for a routine case discussion.

In that context, only the information required to address the specific question is used, the case is identified by a coded reference and direct identifying information is removed.

69 Will I be asked before information about my case is shared with a third party?

Yes, where the proposed exchange involves disclosure to a third party of information relating to the patient.

The patient is informed of the purpose of the proposed exchange and remains central to decisions concerning the use of their information.

Scope and limitations
70 Does HypnoCorpe® guarantee that a cause will be identified?

No.

The complexity of an individual case means that no responsible analysis can guarantee that a single cause or definitive explanation will be identified.

The commitment is to the depth of the analysis, the quality of the research and a clear distinction between established findings, working hypotheses and remaining uncertainty.

71 Does HypnoCorpe® guarantee recovery or improvement?

No.

No individual medical or therapeutic outcome can be guaranteed.

The purpose of the engagement is to improve the understanding of the case and enable relevant questions to be considered by appropriately qualified professionals.

72 Does HypnoCorpe® provide emergency medical care?

No.

HypnoCorpe® is not an emergency medical service. Any situation requiring immediate medical assessment or intervention must be referred directly to the appropriate medical or emergency service.

73 What should I do if my condition worsens during the engagement?

Any significant deterioration, potentially urgent new symptom or other concerning development should be reported immediately to a doctor or the appropriate emergency service.

A patient should never wait for a response or report from HypnoCorpe® where the situation requires immediate medical assessment.

Brain Health Clinique® Training
74 Does HypnoCorpe® also provide training for doctors?

Yes.

Brain Health Clinique® Training is a separate educational activity and is distinct from individual Décodage Biologique Clinique® engagements.

75 Is the training open to the general public?

No.

Admission criteria are set out on the training page and are used to assess whether an applicant’s professional background is appropriate for the programme.

76 Is the training available in more than one format?

Yes.

Brain Health Clinique® Training is available in a live format and as a recorded e-learning programme, each offered under separate terms.

77 Does the training confer a medical degree, specialist title or licence?

No.

It is an independent professional training programme. It does not constitute a university degree, specialist medical qualification or authorisation to practise an additional regulated healthcare profession.

Publications and scientific content
78 Do HypnoCorpe® articles constitute personalised medical advice?

No.

Articles, analyses and publications available on the website are provided for informational, scientific or educational purposes.

They are not a basis for establishing an individual diagnosis or deciding to start, change or discontinue treatment.

79 Why does HypnoCorpe® publish scientific analyses?

Because some complex situations become easier to understand when individual findings are no longer considered in isolation and the possible relationships between different mechanisms are examined.

The publications are intended to explain this analytical approach and place relevant developments in the scientific literature into context.

Before applying
80 How do I know whether HypnoCorpe® is appropriate for my situation?

An application may be appropriate where your medical journey has already generated a substantial amount of information, yet it remains difficult to obtain a coherent overall understanding of what is happening.

You may have seen several professionals, undergone multiple investigations or tried different approaches without understanding why the problem persists.

How does the information already available fit together, and what genuinely remains to be investigated in order to understand the trajectory more clearly?
81 What happens if my case is not suitable for this approach?

No engagement is undertaken.

The eligibility process exists specifically to determine whether this level of analysis appears appropriate before any commitment is made.

82 What is the first step?

The first step is to complete the eligibility questionnaire, which provides an initial overview of the situation, the medical journey to date and the principal unresolved issues.

Legal framework and data protection
83 What legal framework protects information provided to HypnoCorpe®?

Health-related information constitutes sensitive personal data within the meaning of Article 5(c)(2) of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP; SR 235.1).

To the extent applicable to the processing concerned, relevant provisions of the FADP include, in particular:

  • Art. 5(c)(2) FADP — classification of health-related data as sensitive personal data;
  • Art. 8 FADP — data security and appropriate technical and organisational measures;
  • Art. 19 FADP — duty to provide information when personal data is collected;
  • Art. 25 et seq. FADP — the data subject’s right of access;
  • Arts. 16 and 17 FADP — requirements governing disclosure of personal data abroad;
  • Art. 62 FADP — duty of professional confidentiality where the statutory requirements of that provision are met.

HypnoCorpe® does not generally represent its advisory and analytical activities as falling within the specific professional secrecy regime commonly referred to as “medical confidentiality” under Article 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code (SCC; SR 311.0), which applies to the professions and persons covered by that provision.

Information entrusted to HypnoCorpe® nevertheless remains subject to the confidentiality, security, transparency and data-protection requirements applicable to the way in which that information is processed.

Where additional mandatory requirements apply because of the patient’s country of residence, the destination of a disclosure or another relevant jurisdictional connection, those requirements remain applicable.
