3. Purpose of the Website

The purpose of this website is to present HypnoCorpe®, its activities, publications, training programmes, professional engagements, methodologies, services and offerings.

The information published on the website is provided for informational, educational and scientific purposes.

It does not constitute:

• a medical diagnosis;
• a medical consultation;
• personalised medical advice;
• a prescription;
• a treatment;
• a therapeutic decision;
• medical care or clinical management;
• emergency medical care.

The content published on the website is not a substitute for assessment, advice or follow-up by a physician or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

4. Nature of the Activity

HypnoCorpe® provides private multidisciplinary analysis of complex medical situations in which medical information already exists but requires reconstruction, comparison and interpretation within a broader cross-disciplinary and chronological framework.

Services may include, in particular:

• reviewing documents and information provided by the client;
• reconstructing the medical and symptom chronology;
• reviewing laboratory results, medical reports, investigations and other available data;
• analysing previously prescribed treatments, their chronology, reported effects and tolerability where relevant to understanding the case;
• identifying relevant interactions between different medical data;
• identifying potential contradictions, apparent inconsistencies or elements that may have been insufficiently explored;
• identifying questions that may warrant reassessment or further investigation by a healthcare professional;
• organising and prioritising hypotheses that may be considered on the basis of the available information;
• producing a structured and reasoned analysis of the case.

HypnoCorpe® does not provide clinical medical practice in the sense of direct medical management of the client.

Its services do not include, in particular:

• medical diagnosis;
• an official medical second opinion constituting a medical act;
• prescription of medication;
• modification of treatment;
• medical procedures;
• physical examination;
• nursing care;
• therapeutic follow-up;
• medical certificates;
• medico-legal or judicial expert reports;
• emergency medical care.

Any matter requiring further medical investigation, diagnostic validation, prescription or therapeutic decision-making remains the responsibility of a physician or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Medical follow-up remains under the responsibility of the healthcare professionals providing the client’s care.

5. Remote Services and Videoconferencing

Certain services and communications with HypnoCorpe® may be provided remotely through videoconferencing or other digital communication tools.

Such remote exchanges do not constitute a medical teleconsultation.

In particular, they do not allow HypnoCorpe® to:

• perform a physical examination;
• carry out medical or technical procedures;
• directly perform additional medical investigations;
• provide emergency medical care.

The client agrees to participate in remote exchanges from an environment that is sufficiently quiet and confidential and, where videoconferencing is used, to have an appropriate Internet connection.

The specific terms governing the delivery of services are set out, where applicable, in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and in the information provided to the client before the commencement of the engagement.

• reduction or disappearance of symptoms;
• modification of treatment by a physician;
• acceptance by a third-party healthcare professional of any conclusion, question or line of enquiry identified by HypnoCorpe®;
• reimbursement by an insurer;
• any specific outcome.

The purpose of the analysis performed by HypnoCorpe® is to structure the understanding of a complex situation, organise the available information and, where the evidence allows, identify questions or lines of enquiry that may be discussed with the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Medical and therapeutic decisions remain exclusively the responsibility of appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.
